Köngen, October 5, 2021 – From digitalization to decarbonization – Companies are currently in the midst of one of the biggest transformations in economic history. What are the challenges they need to overcome? What opportunities do they need to seize? And what are high performers doing differently in order to maintain balance within their business? BestPracticeDay 2021 provides answers to these questions. The event will take place on November 23, 2021 in the Stuttgart FILDERHALLE. The congress will also be simultaneously transmitted via livestream.
“After a one-year mandatory Corona break, we are very happy that BestPracticeDay 2021 can once again take place as usual in the form of a realtime event, thanks to a state-of-the-art ventilation system”, says Wilhelm Goschy, CEO of Staufen AG. “With a maximum attendance figure of 180 participants, we meet the current Corona regulations. What’s more, the livestream of the congress also allows those who unfortunately could not attend in person to participate.”
More than 30 experts who will be present at the congress (as well as in the separately bookable workshops on the following day) will provide not only exciting insights, but will, of course, also be available for discussions in the forum, as well as for a personal, i.e. virtual exchange of ideas.
Restructuring of the supply chain
The roster of top-class speakers will include, for example, Angela Titzrath, CEO of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG. The logistics expert sees in the development of digital business segments a central key for innovation and will be talking about the successful restructuring of the supply chain.
Frank, Riemensperger, Senior Managing Director at Accenture Germany, will be discussing at the Round Table together with Management mastermind Anders Indset, as well as managers and directors, the anatomy of the success of high performers. His conviction: “Those who want to maintain their competitive position as a productive company need to flip the switch and make the transition from ‘Made in Germany’ to ‘Operated in Germany’.”
Boldly rethinking organization
Many companies have already made the switch when it comes to the topic of new work. However, they now need to succeed in transforming the emergency pandemic solution into value-added normality. Anna Kopp, Director of IT at Microsoft Germany describes how this can be achieved. There is no doubt in her mind that the traditional office will in future serve less as a place of work, but rather as a meeting point, while innovative technologies and a culture of trust will in the long-term increasingly enable more flexible and mobile work models.
For Johann Soder, COO of SEW-Eurodrive, the courage to rethink organization is the prerequisite to achieving success in a globally complex world. He talks about “boosting competitiveness by exploiting both tried-and-tested and new methods” and delves deeper into the power of lean management and digitalization.
Many more top managers, both domestic and international, will also be talking about the sustainable transition and the lever of a future-proof transformation. They include, among others, Dr. Christian Fischer, Robert Bosch GmbH, Johannes Giloth, GEA Group AG and Anthony van der Ley, Lemken GmbH & Co. KG.
